Beginners Camp ( grouped with Session 1 week)
July 9th-14th 9AM-4:30 PM
Clearcut Recording Studios Garfield NJ
Concert Sat. July 14th at 6pm
This camp is basically the same as Rockin
Week, but is geared towards kids who are not quite ready to participate
in the Rockin Week Camps. Ideally kids in this camp should have
a basic understanding of thier instrument. All kids will be introduced
to different instruments and will be broken up into groups by
instruments of choice. Students will be working independently
on songs to be rehearsed by the group. Students will have the
chance to learn modern methods to play popular songs on instruments
of choice.
- Learn performance techniques
- Make a music video
- Learn about Sound Systems, History of Rock, The Music
Business
- Experiment with other instruments
On the Saturday evening following the camp, students will have
the opportunity to perform at Mexicali Live in Teaneck and play
on a professional stage with full sound and lighting systems.
A DVD of the performance will be available as well.
